Notice to Airmen (NOTAM)
A notice to airmen will be issued for this event. It will give notice to pilots flying into the Greenville Airport (3B1) about runway closure, taxiing limitations and aircraft overnight parking and camping.
Runway Closure
In the interest of safety, runway 03-21 will be closed from 8:00 am (12:00 UTC) on 9/5/24 until 5:00 PM (21:00 UTS) on 9/8/24. No camping is allowed until noon on Thursday. Under Designated Camping Area
Designated Camping Area
Aircraft overnight parking/camping is limited to the designated camping area only. Designated camping area for all overnight aviation/campers is located on East and West sides of Runway 03 and south of intersection 14-32 (see map). The camping area will be accessible by aircraft taxiing on the closed runway and by vehicles off E road. Designated camping fee is $100.00 for all three nights and can be prepaid on the website or at the gate.
Pets
Pets are allowed only in the designated camping area and must be on a leash at all times.
Runway Safety
Motorized vehicles (automobiles, golf carts, ATVs, etc.) and pedestrians are strictly prohibited from runways. Crossing of runways 32-14 are absolutely prohibited at any time during the Fly In.
Drones
The use of drones is strictly prohibited for the duration of the International Seaplane Fly-In.​
